Advance payment or an agreed booking deposit
Where hospital appointments and English-speaking support are being coordinated, your written plan specifies full advance payment or an agreed booking deposit. Before paying, confirm the amount, any remaining balance and deadline, and cancellation or rescheduling arrangements in writing.
Advance coordination helps the team arrange the hospital visit and reserve the agreed support. The requirement is specific to your written plan; it is not a statement that every hospital requires advance payment. No single deposit percentage applies to every booking.
Check what the payment covers, who receives it, how any deposit is counted towards the agreed total, and the written appointment status. Payment does not establish clinical eligibility or guarantee access to a treatment. Payment terms already accepted for an existing booking remain those in its agreement.
Use the payment and cancellation conditions supplied with your quotation. Ask the coordinating team to clarify any difference before paying; do not assume a deposit is refundable or non-refundable without checking the applicable terms.
