Treatment pathways and therapy methods
Explore how regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, mesenchymal stromal cells, organ-specific cell approaches and clinical research differ — and what must be verified before an international patient travels.
Start with a diagnosis, not a generic injection.
The same cell product should not be assumed to treat unrelated diseases. A credible pathway connects a defined condition, a specific product or procedure, a qualified institution and a reviewable eligibility process.
Different methods require different questions.
A broad label such as “stem cells” does not tell you the source, identity, manufacturing quality, delivery route, indication, evidence or legal pathway.

When we review a pathway, we look for the exact product or procedure, the condition being treated, the regulatory and clinical status, the treating institution, the current intake route and the information required from the patient.
- What is the exact cell or biologic product?
- Is it patient-derived or donor-derived?
- What condition and disease stage is it intended for?
- Is it a clinical application, a drug trial or another research pathway?
- Does the institution currently accept foreign patients?
- What benefits, risks and uncertainties are disclosed?
Before choosing a therapy method
Regenerative medicine is a broad field that includes cell therapies, tissue engineering, biologic products and strategies intended to repair or restore function. Stem cell therapy is one possible category within that field.
A pathway may be publicly reported in China while current foreign-patient intake, passport requirements, eligibility and formal pricing still need direct confirmation from the treating institution.
The website helps you understand options, but it is not an online shop. Treatment selection follows diagnosis review, specialist assessment, informed consent and a formal institutional plan.
We explain registered clinical trials separately from clinical applications. Trial participation is governed by the protocol and must not be sold as a commercial treatment package.
