What is the Lecheng NK pathway?
West China Lecheng Hospital reports clinical application of an autologous NK-cell technique alongside immune medicines for solid tumours. Its announcement describes collection and expansion of the patient’s own NK cells and names lung, colorectal, breast, liver, stomach, ovarian, pancreatic and prostate cancers. Autologous NK, donor-derived NK, engineered CAR-NK and NK/T-cell lymphoma are different terms; a lymphoma name does not indicate a matching NK-cell treatment.
What does the evidence establish?
The announcement supports the existence of a reported institutional pathway. It does not supply a controlled, cancer-specific survival estimate that we can use to predict your outcome. We therefore do not publish a pooled “success rate”, recurrence-prevention guarantee or claim of superiority to standard oncology care.
Ask the reviewing team which clinical study matches the proposed cell preparation and medicine combination, whether the comparison was randomised, and what benefits and adverse events were measured. Tumour shrinkage, disease control and overall survival are different outcomes.

What should a cancer therapy quotation include?
We have not verified a current, patient-specific international-patient price for these pathways. A per-injection figure is not a complete treatment budget. Ask for separate charges for specialist review, pathology or biomarker tests, cell collection or manufacture where relevant, medicines, administration, admission, adverse-event care and follow-up.
Also clarify cancellation terms if you are ineligible or a product cannot be prepared, which research costs are covered by a sponsor, and which travel, interpreting and accommodation costs are excluded. Do not apply stem-cell cost estimates to an oncology protocol. Clinical-trial participation is not a treatment package.
Plan the China journey after the clinical decision
Keep your treating oncologist involved. Do not delay or stop an existing treatment plan to pursue an unconfirmed option. Before travel, establish the expected visit schedule, need for admission, what happens if treatment is unsuitable, and who will manage complications or follow-up after you return home. Can NK therapy replace chemotherapy or other standard care?
Do not stop or replace prescribed cancer care on the basis of this page. The cited Lecheng technique is described as adjunctive; the oncology team must specify its role.
Is NK therapy available to every international patient?
No such blanket access has been verified. Current intake, eligibility, treatment details and pricing need written institutional confirmation.
How much does a course cost?
